Dr. Ernest Drake

Se dice que el Dr. Ernest Drake vivió en St. Leonard's Forest, Sussex, Inglaterra, a finales del siglo XIX y que publicó una tirada muy limitada (unas 100 copias) de DRAGONOLOGY en 1895. Destacado dragonólogo y miembro fundador de En la Sociedad Secreta y Antigua de Dragonólogos de Londres, el Dr. Ernest Drake estaba decidido a llevar el tema de los dragones bajo el floreciente paraguas de las ciencias naturales del siglo XIX. No tenía ninguna duda de que los dragones existen, y sus notas sugieren que tenía no poca experiencia con ellos. Al parecer, sólo una copia de DRAGONOLOGÍA apareció en público, y apareció en el sótano de una librería de segunda mano en Londres en 1987. El libro iba acompañado de una carta, fechada en 1904, dirigida a un aprendiz anónimo.
